WECOHAS

Western Community Health Association

Who we are

It's all big when we're empowering our communities.

WECOHAS

Western Community Health Association was formed to spearhead the socio-economic development of western Kenya, specifically the former Western Province. It is registered as a community association. Its mission is to develop economic projects in focus sectors.

The operating model will involve the creation of special purpose vehicles (SPVs) to anchor the development of projects in each sector. WECOHAS will, on behalf of the community, retain majority shareholding in the sector SPVs while the rest of the shares will go to an anchor investor for the sector and individual members of WECOHAS who may be willing to buy shares.
